No. You only need to leave your order in an area accessible by our drivers. Just let us know your order is out and ready for pickup. Your clothing will normally be cleaned and delivered back to you on the next delivery day at your location. It may take longer if alterations or re-cleaning due to stubborn stains is needed.

Most of our clients leave their laundry in one of the following places.

  • Concierge desk, building management office or a room/closet designated by building management for Sarni Cleaners
  • Building lobby or entryway
  • Inside or outside their apartment door

When specifying a pickup/drop-off location during sign up or with your driver, please be sure that the driver will be able to access that location. Many of our clients entrust us with a key for the downstairs front door(s) so they can have service outside of their apartment door. Our encrypted key tag system ensures your anonymity and safety.

If a key is needed or you would simply like to meet your driver or to find out if we already have established key access to your building, please e-mail delivery@sarnidrycleaners.com. If preferred, we will contact you during delivery back of your order to alert you of its presence.

We have never experienced security or theft issues. However, please choose your pickup location wisely. We cannot guarantee that your location is 100% secure

Sarni Cleaners Welcome Kits are available at the concierge desk or management office of many downtown apartment buildings. Please stop by to pick up one and follow the instructions inside.

If your building does not have Sarni Cleaners Welcome Kits, place your first order in a trash bag clearly labeled with your name, service needed (wash and fold, dry cleaning or other special care), any special instructions and "Sarni Cleaners" on the outside of each bag. Please put wash and fold garments and special care garments (dry cleaning, button down shirts, hand wash, alterations) in separate bags. Separation of lights, whites, and darks is included with all wash and fold orders, so you don't need to do it yourself.

We will deliver your laundry back to you in our eco-friendly Sarni Earth Bags with your personalized ID tags attached. The tags provide your account information as well as cleaning and delivery preferences.

Yes, we do! Our Welcome Kit contains a plastic bag to put your clothes in for your first pickup, a pamphlet that has a pickup and delivery form and a money saving coupon, several blank invoices for you to fill out and include in your order, "stain" stickers for identifying stains, a price list as well as additional information about our earth friendly garment bags and our award winning housecleaning and clothing restoration services.

Sarni Cleaners Welcome Kits are available at the concierge desk or management office of many downtown apartment buildings. If your building doesn't have Sarni Welcome Kits, sign up for pickup and delivery service on our website and check the box for getting a Welcome Kit. Then follow the instructions in Question 4 above to prepare your first order.

Our wash and fold laundry service is accounted for by the pound, first at the time of pickup and again after being folded to double check the weight. All special care garments are recorded by the piece and kind.

We always indicate the weight of your wash and fold order on the invoice when it is returned to you. After a few orders, you will get a sense of the weight of your laundry.

Our pickup and delivery service includes Boston neighborhoods such as Back Bay, Beacon Hill, North End, West End, South End, Kenmore/Fenway, Allston, Brighton, NU/Mission Hill, East Boston, as well as Brookline, Cambridge, Everett, Chelsea, Medford, Melrose, and Lynnfield.

Drivers are normally on delivery routes Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm, Saturday 8am - 4pm. Phone support is available Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm and Saturday from 8am - 4pm.

There are blank invoices in the Sarni Cleaners Welcome Kit for you to describe your order. (See Question 5 above.) If you don't have a Welcome Kit, please complete our online order form. Alternatively, you can also email your order to delivery@sarnidrycleaners.com.

Please put all special care garments in a separate bag, write your special instructions on a note and include it in the bag. We always spot check garments for stains. Please alert us to any allergies you have to soaps or other chemicals. We would be happy to accommodate your special needs.

Sarni Cleaners has experienced, highly trained textile restoration specialists who perform insurance restoration laundry and dry cleaning services for all types of loss. Please visit our Clothing Restoration Services page for details.

Sarni Cleaners has expert tailors to service all your alterations needs. Please pin and note your alterations instructions and put garments that require alterations in a separate bag. Please note that our shirt laundry service includes button replacement, and our Classic Care service includes minor alterations at no extra charge.

Sarni Cleaners stands by its quality and service. While in our care, we take responsibility for your garments up to ten times our charge for processing it. Sometimes we may decline to clean an item at pickup or after being spot-checked at our processing plant. This happens when we find that the garment already has too much wear and tear or is too fragile to care for. We do not take responsibility for missing items or orders both before we pickup and after we drop-off orders. Please choose a pickup/drop-off location that you are comfortable with.

If you are not satisfied with the quality of our garment care, we will re-clean your garment or refund the full cleaning costs to you without question.

We accept payment by debit card or credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover).  To ensure the safety of our drivers, we do not accept cash.

The minimum order for free pickup/delivery service is 3 pieces of dry cleaning, 5 shirts, or 15 lbs of wash and fold.

The Sarni Cleaners Earth Bag has a zipper pouch for hangers. Please return hangers for recycling by putting them inside the pouch on your next order.
