Sarni Cleaners is a family-owned and family-run laundry and dry cleaning service with a commitment to quality and customer service. It began more than 80 years ago in 1929 with James Sarni, Sr., grandfather of current CEO, Ken Sarni. James, Sr. was a pioneer in the industry, offering laundry pickup and delivery service to Boston’s affluent society with his horse and buggy. He would bring linens and clothing to his home in the North End where his wife Mary cleaned them in their basement.
